PROCESSING STEPS Date Receive notification of proposal Create a History File* Insert Phase 1 notification letter into public history folder Send hello-pi letter - From terminal window, type: hello-pi --cycle NOTE: If you do not specify a program ID, the tool will process all of the given cycle programs for which the user is the PC. Provide help to PI by answering questions during development of Phase 2 Receive Phase 2 proposal from PI Send confirmation e-mail to the PI for receipt of Phase 2 Checkin* proposal into PLIB Review syntax diagnostics and resolve any reported diagnostics Process Proposal with OPS Tool Set* Check: - Transformation - MOSS (if a moving target) - PMDB Load - Guide Star Request - Spike NOTE: You can also process each tool separately, if needed Review diagnostics (if applicable) and resolve as necessary making sure to include all correspondence in the history folder Review proposal schedulability in Spike* (NOTE: If constraint windows are available for each observation, plan windows will be assigned by LRP. See Spike table below for other options) Perform Proposal Verification* - Check compliance with TAC comments and Phase I vs. Phase 2 comparison - Check compliance with TAC orbit allocation - Perform duplication check - Mark verification complete, click Yes (if no issues reported) NOTE: Any reported issues, do not pass verification (click No, Send Email to SI Team) and include the reports in the email Run Visit Update* Review diagnostics (if applicable) and resolve Read CS instrument review (when generated and sent to you in an email) Run Schedulability* (only after plan windows have been assigned) If Moving Target, make Confirmation Charts (click Confirm Chart*) Send Galley Proof* to PI and other Contacts Flag SUs as Flight Ready* * Tool is located in the PC Toolbox For Verification issues, contact si_verification@stsci.edu For Instrument Review issues, contact si_csreview@stsci.edu (where `si' is the science instrument)
