Subject: NICMOS Recovered to SAA Operate

Hello,

NICMOS was successfully recovered to SAA Operate around 247/17:10 today via Ops Request 18140. As expected, buffer box #2 was too cold to turn on so contingency Ops
request 18143 was executed to turn on only buffer boxes #1 and #3. When buffer box #2 reaches its minimum operating temperature of -12C, it too will be turned on via
Ops Request 18144.

The problem that originally cause the safing has not reoccurred and is believed to be a SEU (Single Event Upset) of the special engineering telemetry FIFO or some
other register.
