Subject: SD255 Return to Science and SB256 SMS's have been successfully delivered

The Return to Science SMS was successfully generated and delivered to
Flight Operations earlier this morning. The 1st uplink opportunity for
the continuity 486 command load begins at ~254:18:45 UT (2:45pm EDT)
today. Since this is a Cold Start SMS for the NSSC-1, the 1st NSSC-1
science timeline command load can be uplinked in any available contact
prior to its first command time at 255:00:12:54 UT (~8:12pm EDT) this
evening. All SI modes except STIS MAMA are available for use in the
SMS by 255:00:40 UT. For power management reasons, STIS low voltage is
ramped in stages with MAMA 1 LV first and MAMA 2 LV ramped up 12 hours
later by ~255:12:42 UT (8:42am EDT Sunday). The 'first' uses of each
particular SI mode are (i.e. - this is not the complete schedule):

00:45:34 UT - Proposal 11845 - STIS/CCD - CAL - CCD Dark Monitor

01:00:00 UT - Proposal 11908 - WFC3/UVIS - CAL - UVIS Bowtie Monitor

01:55:27 UT - Proposal 11996 - ACS - CAL - CCD Daily Monitor

02:56:08 UT - Proposal 11741 - COS/FUV/NUV- GO - Probing Warm-Hot
Intergalactic Gas at 0.5 < z < 1.3

04:08:36 UT - Proposal 11696 - WFC3/IR - GO/PAR - Infrared Survey
of Star Formation Across Cosmic Time

The COS GO observation listed above was the first FGS controlled
observation. The SAA prevented earlier scheduling of main (FGS
control) observations in this SMS.

The 256 SMS which is to begin executing Sunday evening was reprocessed
for continuity with the Return to Science SMS. It was redelivered a
few minutes ago to Flight Ops for uplink tomorrow afternoon.

Once again, thanks to the P&S operations team, and particularly Dave
Adler, for their great efforts on these SMS products yesterday and
today. And also thanks once again to the PASS Development and
Commanding teams for their availability and support.
