* Battery Reconditioning Test *
*******************************

The solar arrays have been managed to be near normal during the test
timeframe. The compatible pointing profile covers the timeframe of
143:12:53 - 146:13:00. The test start time is the entry into
shadow at 143:12:53.

The requested minimum ten minute forwards during the first
four shadow periods are addressed by the following contacts:

Shadow period: 143:12:53 - 143:13:25
Forward: 143:12:51:15 - 143:13:43:30 TDW SSAF

Shadow period: 143:14:29 - 143:15:01

Shadow period: 143:17:41 - 143:18:13
Forward: 143:18:02:19 - 143:18:30:00 TDW SSAF

Continuous Engineering Recording (CER) has been scheduled to occur
during the timerange of 143:12:53 - 145:22:53.

However, to receive both engineering and science data during this
period and to avoid data recorder overflows, a number of gaps in
the CER were planned. Efforts were made to match these gaps to the
known times of TDRS return contacts, thereby minimizing the number
and duration of the gaps in the CER. A total of six science data
dumps and three engineering data dumps were scheduled during the
CER. A list of the gaps in the CER are as follows:

Start of Continuous Engineering Recording: 143:12:53

MA Transmitter Lifetime Extension Initiative
********************************************

TDRS events have been explicitly deleted from the NCC schedule
following procedures developed under the MA Transmitter
Lifetime Extension Initiative. The timeframe on this SMS
in which TDRS events were deleted is 142:00:00:00 - 143:11:46:59
which is before the battery reconditioning test. The number of
TDRS events removed was 14 out of an original count of 195.
