THIS IS AN INTERCEPT SMS

Purpose of Intercept: Re-run of Products to include the
desired specific setting of the Solar Arrays for the
Camelopardalid meteor shower. The details for this
setting are in the notes section below.
These settings had inadvertantly been left out of the
previous re-delivery which had been run to select
Guide Star pairs for observations of program 13495.

Critical Data
*************

None.

Guide Star pairs for observations 1349538, 40, 45, 51, 82 and 83
have been selected to avoid use of a Guide Star that was found
to fail for similar observations on the 132 week.

MA Transmitter Lifetime Extension Initiative
********************************************

TDRS events have been explicitly deleted from the NCC schedule
following procedures developed under the MA Transmitter
Lifetime Extension Initiative. The number of TDRS events
removed was 81 out of an original count of 200.

This SMS contains a WFC3/UVIS IRCold Anneal
from 2014.140:17:44:34 to 2014.141:12:05:09.

*****************************
Camelopardalids Meteor Shower
*****************************
The Camelopardalids shower peak is expected to be from 144/06-08 UT.

To better protect the Solar Arrays, our duck-and-cover timeframe is from
144/04:24 when we finish the slew to the science target until 144/10:23 when we
start the slew away from near the anti-radiant. During this timeframe, the
solar array normal is set to 98.0 degrees from +V1 to roughly equalize the
probability of damaging hits between the front and back sides with a slight
bias in favor of the back-side to account for the SA position uncertainty. The
sun-to-SA incidence is 7.9 degrees during this timeframe.

The science target (visit 1346202) is about 22 degrees away from the
unaberrated anti-radiant. The visit uses the STIS/MAMAs as there is no concern
that any impacting meteoriods will be able to penetrate the aft shroud (see
07Apr14 GSAWG presentation).
