Examples for preprint entrytool

Use these guidelines to fill out or edit the corresponding fields in the preprint entrytool.

NOTE: Inside INPUT fields, Netscape DOES replace special symbols that appear in the default value for that field by the actual character. E.g. &lt; is displayed as "<".
HTML tags (<....>) are not interpreted.

Preprint ID:

A four digit serial number: 1165
The default is the first nonexisting preprint number after a hardcoded minimum. Or a number extracted from the filename.

Month:

The month in which the preprint appears. This is used in the preprint listing. The default is the current month.

Year:

The year is used in the filename of the long year index. It should be in 4 digit format.

Author(s):

A line of author names seperated by comma's. Each author name can be followed by one or more references that should match a reference in the affiliations field. If the tool finds references in the format "(1)", it automatically replaces them with corresponding superscripts.

Use HTML-style typesetting for special characters, but note that if you do so, it is very unlikely that a search will find the author name. To prevent this, also include the author name in regular ascii as an HTML comment:

Abstract:

In this paper we discuss the reasons why a human being,
or any other particulate matter can not travel at speeds
exceeding the speed of light in a vacuum (c).

If we express the space curvature in terms of

limited IQ, and the time elapsed since the
