PROject 03- Object Series (100 pts)
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Present three versions of the same image / object, all well optimized for size, value, and contrast using one of the color images provided (or an image of your choice, if approved by the instructor).
Three image series: optimized for color, optimized for black & white, and an object cutout on simple background.
When adjusting for size and resolution, set your image resolution to 180dpi (for print). Create two copies of this image - one to be converted to b/w, and one to be cut out and placed on a solid background. Image size and height should be maintained. Once all three styles are complete, the final step will be to present all three in one document, neatly aligned and evenly spaced.
Choose one: (right-click on link and 'save link as'; or click on link, then right-click on image and 'save image as')
Your image will be graded on effective optimizing, attention to detail, and presentation.
Format:
A Photoshop document for each image in series, including the original image (4 files total), AND, a pdf document showing the three final images (this can be created using Bridge) neatly spaced and aligned. Click here for instructions on creating the PDF.
Create a folder, titled with your last name and place all your files in this folder. Place the folder in the project submission folder for Project 03 on the server.
