Extracting a scientific product with `xmmselect`/`evselect` I get a warning concerning the exposure time. Should I worry?

If your warning looks like:

Event list does not contain filtering information with the expected
structure. Calculated exposure information is not reliable.

you should take it very seriously. The EXPOSURE keyword values calculated by evselect/xmmselect are likely to be wrong. Check them carefully, and update them manually (e.g. with the FTOOLS fparkey) if you encounter inconsistencies.

With SAS v5.2, this error can appear whenever simple OR-ed selection expressions are employed. E.g.:

(TIME in [71514000:71528400])||(TIME in [71529000:71531500])

This warning is likely to be much less frequent in future SAS versions. However, do not ignore it whenever it appears!
