Upgrading the format.

rgssources is now backward-compatible: it is able to add sources to source lists which were created in the pre-sas-5.1 format. See section 3.6 for a detailed description of the process. The task attempts to upgrade the format of these older files and in fact can be used to do this exclusively, without the necessity to add to or otherwise modify the source list. To fully upgrade an older source list, rgssources needs the following information:

• The instrument name.
• Information from the CCF.
• The exposure number.
• Information from the ODF.

The first two items are mandatory; the second two optional. Details of this are as follows:
