. Naomi McClure-Griffiths and Mike Ireland, visited NAOC and KIAA (part of PKU) in Beijing in April, as part of an ANU delegation to try and explore collaboration opportunities. The long-term goal of the trip was to find ways to attract more joint PhD students. We will provide a brief report on our visit, and will describe how targeted increased collaboration with China has the potential to improve the research competitiveness of RSAA.
