Modern observing data on magnetic fields and rotational periods of single white dwarfs are reviewed. The data obtained with 6-m telescope are also discussed. It is shown in spite of considerable scatter in observed values the magnetic fields and rotational periods of white dwarfs are related as it may follow from the theory.
