THE ARGUMENT AGAINST LONG EXTRAGALACTIC DISTANCE SCALE Gaseous discs of S0 -- Sd galaxies appears to be gravitationally stable or close to stability. Dependence of the gravitational stability parameter of gaseous disc $M_g/M_c$ upon the color index $(B-V)^0_T$ which reflects a relative number of young stars, is found.
