. Comment on J1640+1220 . Augusto, Wilkinson & Browne (1998) show a 5 GHz MERLIN image and describe the source as a core-jet: their jet component is at PA=-50 . This, and our image, imply a gently curved jet from mas to 100 mas scale. The mas-scale structure is similar in the 8.4 GHz image from the VLBA Calibrators database. VLBApls home page .
