We present the results of an ongoing survey of cool, late­type supergiants -- the descendants of massive O and B­type stars -- that has systematically detected magnetic fields in these stars using spectropolarimetric observations obtained with the ESPaDOnS at the Canada­France­Hawaii Telescope.
