Armagh Observatory reports that last month was milder, duller and slightly drier than average. The mean monthly temperature for December was 5.8 degrees Celsius (42.4 degrees Fahrenheit) compared with the average figure of 4.7 degrees C. There were 7 nights with air frost and 10 nights with ground frost. The total sunshine for the month was 32.2 hours, that is, slightly less than the average of 37 hours. ...
