We present ultraviolet, optical, near-infrared, Spitzer mid-infrared, and radio images of 14 radio-selected objects in M33. ... We have detected the majority of cluster candidates in M33 at all wavelengths. ... These results suggest that 11 of the 14 radio-selected objects are optically visible young star clusters with a surrounding H II region, that 2 are background objects, possibly active galactic nuclei (AGNs), and that 1 is a Wolf-Rayet star with a surrounding H II region. ...
ST-ECF Instrument Science Report ACS 2001-002 The Effective Spectral Resolution of the WFC and HRC Grism A. Pasquali, N. Pirzkal, J.R. Walsh, R.N. Hook, W. Freudling, R. Albrecht, R.A.E. Fosbury March 7, 2001 ABSTRACT We present SLIM simulations of the size and orientation with respect to by which the object extension along resolution of the grism. ... In the case of ACS, the nominal spectral resolution is 40 е/pix and 29 е/pix in the first order spectra of the WFC and HRC grism, respectively. ...
... Complex astrophysical phenomena could now be studied spectroscopically: the X-ray absorption line forest intrinsic to Seyfert galaxies; the interaction between AGN jets and intracluster media; hot winds of starburst galaxies; stellar coronal plasmas; the charge -exchange emission of Mars' exosphere; the X-ray irradiation of protoplanetary disks; and the myst erious flat-topped spectral line shapes of O star winds. ... We estimate that Gen-X will be able to detect and resolve 20, 000 stars in NGC...
