Nonlinear Acoustic Borehole Equipment

The report deals with current and prospective acoustic parametric transducers intended for borehole geophysics. Characteristics are of various generator devices and acoustic transducers are presented with capability of non-linear action on an area located nearby a hole bottom. Possible mechanisms of action on fluid-saturated hard rocks are described as well as analytical estimations of acoustic pressure at difference frequencies carried out by method of wave fronts for various hard rocks.
