Hello, and thanks for downloading "The Gates of Doom" (gatedoom.mid).

"The Gates of Doom" is copyright 1995 by Michael Walthius, all rights
reserved. It is being freely distributed for non-commercial use. Anyone
wishing to use this music in conjunction with software (or anything else
for that matter) is asked to please contact the composer via email at
keybdwizrd@aol.com.

Additionally, should you choose to re-distribute this file, please do not
make any changes or modifications. Also, please be so kind as to
include this text file (gatedoom.txt).

IMPORTANT INFO FOR PEOPLE USING NON-GM INSTRUMENTS:

This file contains a couple of "embedded" patch changes on channel 11.
At the beginning of the piece, the file calls up a "percussive organ" patch
on channel (and track) 11. At measure 90, the file switches to a "rock
organ" patch on channel (and track) 11. At measure 106, this switches
back to the "percussive organ" patch. If you're using a non-General MIDI
instrument, you'll need to make the necessary adjustments.

Folks using General MIDI compatible instruments (which I believe most
of you are) don't have to worry about this nonsense at all.

writing):

Thanks again for downloading this file - I truly hope that you enjoy
listening to the music as much as I enjoy creating it!
