International Conference 'Contemporary System of Combating Terrorism in Poland and the World' (Rzeszow, Poland, May 18-20, 2016)

The University of Information Technology and Management welcomes academic experts and practitioners from different countries who are interested in presentation of their research findings on the theme “Systems and institutions to combat terrorism in Poland and abroad” for the 2016 conference. Papers should focus on all aspects of anti-terrorist activities. In particular, we encourage contributions addressing the following issues:

• Concepts and ideologies being used by terrorist organizations;
• The funding of terrorist activities and its effect on growth of terrorist threats;
• International terrorist networks;
• State and civil institutions in combating terrorism;
• National and international law and the struggle with terrorism;
• Successful measures in combating terrorism;
• The role and importance of communication for terrorists and combating terrorism;
• Methods of combating terrorism;
• International cooperation in combating terrorism.

Applications, papers and fee must be submitted by April 20^th via email to konferencjaisnt@wp.pl. The conference fee is 90 USD and covers production of conference materials and the publication of a peer-reviewed monograph.

Papers’ Submission:

Papers should be submitted by April 20th, 2016.

Submissions are accepted in Polish, English and Russian.

The papers should address one of the topics of the Conference and must not exceed 2000 words including abstract, figures, references and appendixes. Papers can be produced in any version of Microsoft Word and should be submitted as an e-mail attachment in DOC or DOCX format. Filename must include the name of the contributor. A detailed instruction for submission could be supplied on demand.
