«Globalistics 2013″ — 3rd International Scientific Congress, hosted by Lomonosov Moscow State University, Moscow, Russia
The Faculty of Global Processes at Lomonosov Moscow State University hosted its 3rd International Scientific Congress «GLOBALISTICS 2013″ on October 23-25, 2013. The events were also sponsored under the auspices of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). The Congress was dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the birth of Vladimir Vernadsky (1863-1945), the great Russian scientist who is regarded as the founder of the global research tradition in Russia. Orfalea Center program director Victor Faessel attended the conference on behalf of the Orfalea Center and in his capacity as secretary of the Global Studies Consortium, of which Moscow State University is a member.
