APPLICATION INFORMATION
Skills required for the internship at the Faculty: 1. Normal level of grades (by the decision of the home university); 2. English language skills at a level necessary to cope with the study; we don't require a language test but rely on our partner institutions to evaluate their student's English proficiency; 3. Basic knowledge in international relations and world economy. Supporting documents Nominees (or their university coordinators) are required to eto be submitted: mail the following documents to the Faculty of Global Studies: 1. Exchange application (we'll provide you with the form); 2. Passport copy. Application deadlines The students have to provide the Faculty with all the needed documents and information by the following dates: September admission (Fall semester or full year):


June 20 January admission (Spring semester): November 15 Duration of exchange One semester or two semesters (full academic year). NOTE: A full academic year program is available only for Russian speaking students. Russian language skills should fulfill the academic plan at the faculty.

Academic load Per course: 3-5 credits Per semester: 21-35 credits NOTE: Exchange students can take courses from other faculties if necessary. Courses on other faculties should be organized by the students themselves.

VISA INFORMATION
Obtaining a student visa All non-local students are required to obtain a student visa to study at the MSU. Students need to obtain it through the following steps: 1. Send a passport copy and exchange application by e-mail to the Faculty coordinator; 2. In 2 months the Faculty sends the visa invitation letter to the student or to their home university coordinator; 3. The students apply for Russian student visa on their own at the local Russian Embassy or Consulate. Exchange students are not allowed to work in Russia under student visa conditions.

ARRIVAL INFORMATION
Planning your arrival A coordinator will be assigned to all incoming exchange students. Your coordinator can provide linguistic support, cultural guidance and information about life in MSU. The Faculty students meet the exchange students in the airport and help them check in the dormitory. That's why exchange students need to contact the coordinators beforehand and inform them about the date, time and place of their arrival. The faculty provides exchange students with the dormitory. Approximate price is 13500 rubles per month (by 26.01.15). Most of the rooms are double rooms or rooms for 3 people. Food and beverages may be obtained from large amount of canteens, shops and vending machines all around the campus. All the canteens and restaurants are opened during term time and have the large selection of items.

MEDICAL SERVICES INFORMATION
Medical Services There are two options of the medical services at MSU: 1. Getting the health insurance at the clinics of MSU for the full period of stay (preferable to the students with a long period of stay); 2. Pay for each visit to the clinics of MSU (preferable to the students with a short period of stay). There are several versions of the health insurance. The price depends on the amount of services the student prefers to get. The minimal time period of insurance is 9 months; The minimal price is 6000 rubles (by 26.01.15). If the students don't need the insurance, there's also an option to pay for each visit to the doctor. The price depends on every particular doctor or procedure. At the clinics of MSU the minimal price is nearly 1000 rubles for each doctor or procedure (by 26.01.15).
