Data visualization for TES technology.

VES visualization as the dependence Rhoa =f ( r ) is suitable for analysis of only HLS. New VES model is more complicated and for each of its element (HLS, DI and NSI) optimal visualization procedure should be found. For that the special visualization program IPI-2D was developed, which helps to draw VES data in many forms.

a) Rhoa cross-sections for AMN & MNB pole-dipole arrays give the first representation of structure under investigation, its inhomogeneity and NSI influence (see fig.7).

b) D - transformations gives the difference between AMN & MNB (D) and its horizontal derivative - dD/dX (R). With the help of these pictures inhomogenious objects can be found. Horizontal layering does not appear on D-transformations, because it is the same for AMN and MNB Rhoa field (see example).

c) Vertical (V) derivatives (d Rhoa / dR) - are the most effective for C-effect visualization (see fig.8). These are more distinctive in the case of linear scale along AO axis.

d) Horizontal (G) transformation of Rhoa cross-sections (d Rhoa / dX) helps to see both (P and C) effects from NSI.

Such visualization aims to estimate all elements of the full model: HLS, DI and NSI, P & C effects. In some favorable situation that helps to find deep objects in spite of NSI influence, but more often these may be visible only after removing distortions, caused by NSI's.
