MSU Graphics & Media Lab (Video Group)

The filter allows to enhance image and video sharpness with minimum noise amplification. The algorithm preserves already sharp areas of image without creating additional artifacts. Sharpening is done in area of middle frequencies, that allows not to amplify existed noise.

Examples

Let's feed the filter a portrait of M. Lomonosov and study the results.
