Topology Section

(chairman: Acad. Prof. Serguei Novikov)

International conference on Differential Equations and Topology
dedicated to the Centennial of L.S. Pontryagin
17-22 June, 2008, Moscow

All sessions within the topology section of the conference will take place
at the Department of Mathematics and Mechanics, 12th floor of the MSU main building.
This is a different place from where the plenary talks and other sections will take place.

Topology section consists of 5 plenary talks (by Alexandr Gaifullin, Mikiya Masuda, Serguei Novikov, Charles Pugh, and Nigel Ray) and 3 special sessions:

The programme of talks is now available on this page.

Talks within Topology Section are scheduled on Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday afternoons and include 30-min and 20-min invited and 20-min contributed presentations. There will be 4 to 5 parallel talks every day, split between the special sessions. Due to the time restrictions we were not be able to accommodate all requests for oral talks; we hope for understanding. Accepted contributed presentations which are not included in the programme of talks will be available as posters, and their abstracts will appear in the conference booklet alongside with the abstracts of oral talks.

Registered participants were distributed between the special sessions by the programme committee, based on the submitted abstracts. This distribution is tentative and approximate; please report us of any inaccuracies.
