Annual International Student Academic Conference for undergraduate and graduate students Europe 2014: Humanities Between Past and Future will take place on May 16-17, 2014 in Vilnius. The following sections are planned as part of the conference.


Language of Humanities Problems of Establishing the International and European Legal Order Constitutionalism and Legal Instruments of Human Rights Protection in Central and Eastern European States Mapping Knowledge Studying Religious Life as an Interdisciplinary Project Theology and the Public Square Europeanisation Processes in Central and Eastern European States: Sociopolitical and Economic Aspects Public Policy and the Third Sector: Problems of Definition and Analysis in the Region of Central and Eastern Europe Humanities and Education Interpretation of Cultural Heritage as a Way to Knowledge in Humanities History from Below Cultural Heritage in the Context of Today's Global Challenges Contemporary Art: Between Classics and the Avant-Garde Media Culture: Analysis, Interpretation, Critique (Ir)relevant Issues of Gender Theory Popularisation of Urbanism and New Professional Identities Design and Humanities: Ideas about Design across the Post-Soviet Area Psychology as Social Practice Contemporary Society: Between Individualism, Collectivism and Community Practices Competitiveness of Enterprises Between Market and Society: A German Model of Economics

The conference will feature several roundtable discussions, book presentations, and student research project presentations. The conference languages: English, German, Belarusian, and Russian Only selected applicants will be invited to participate. Please submit the online application by March 16. You will be notified of the selection results no later than April 15, 2014. A collection of conference papers will be published. Visa Support Students requiring visa support are to indicate their passport data in the application form. Visas are issued free of charge.
