The 3rd China University Physics Course Forum

Dear Professor,
The 3rd China University Physics Course Forum, sponsored by China Higher
Education Press, with China Research Center of Teaching and Learning in
Universities and Colleges, China Research academy of Teaching and
Learning in Universities and Colleges, Teaching Supervisory Committee of
the Ministry of Education, and undertaken by Wu Han university, will be
held at Wu Han china on October 19 - 21th 2007. The theme is
"Communication and Contrast: University Physics Curriculum Construction
in China, America and Russia." You are cordially invited to attend the
forum, present a relevant thesis for an hour, and share your insights in
issues relating to the curriculum construction of university physics of
your country.

China University Physics Course Forum aims at congregating the domestic and
international renowned scholars in the fields of physical teaching and
studies to conduct comprehensive and in-depth discussions, promoting the
development of university physics teaching. The event held annually. Since
2005, it has already been held successfully twice,with the theme
"Contemporary Physics Development and University Physics Teaching" and
"Construction and Development of University Physics Teaching in Information
Times ". And thus the event enjoys the reputation as a grand exchange
occasion with large scale, high-ranking participation, and quite extensive
social influence in Chinese physical education field.

At the forum session we will invite many distinguished physics experts to
make keynote speeches, which will share their insightful opinions on the
interrelated themes. Some renowned scholars have been the formal
participants, such as Prof. Academician Feng Duan, Prof. Academician Yang
Fu-Jia, Prof. Academician Qu Qin-Yue, Prof. Academician Gu Bing-Lin, Prof.
Academician Mu Guo-Guang, Prof. Academician Zhao Guang-Da, Prof.
Academician Guo Guang-Can, Prof. Academician Yu Lu and etc.

Over 500 participants from China, America, Russia and others countries will
present the forum at that time. Majority of them are engaged in university
physics teaching and studies, such as presidents of notable universities,
directors from famous training centers, adult education institutions as
well as education research institutions, etc. The forum has become a good
platform where participants with the same dream can inspire ideas, exchange
opinions, make friends, solve problems, and find cooperation opportunities.
Your presence at the forum will be highly appreciated.

If you shall be available at the forum, you are kindly requested to fill in
the attached form and send it back by post, E-mail, fax before April 30th
2007. Upon receiving your return receipt, a formal invitation will be sent
to you, and you will be informed of a detailed agenda of the forum. And a
double way economic air ticket from your country to China and the food and
lodging will be covered by the organizers, and the official invitees will
receive a report allowance.
