Call for Abstracts
This follows successful events in Germany (1995), Japan (1998), France (2000), Sweden (2002), USA (2004) and again Germany (2006), which have made ISP conferences a major international forum for presentation of polyelectrolyte research. The conference will focus all relevant topics to polyelectrolytes science. Sessions will be scheduled around the following topics:
· · · · · · · · Biopolyelectrolytes; Polyelectrolyte complexes; Polysaccharides; Formulations and gels; Conformation and counterion binding; Self-assembly; Synthesis; Abstracts should be submitted using the template available on the conference web site

Coimbra
Rich in History, it is said to be the oldest seat of learning in Portugal, with a University founded in 1290 by King Dinis. This makes it one of the oldest in the world. The most dramatic of the ancient treasures of this University is the Joao V library, with superb frescoes. The city original name in the Roman period was Aeminium, and it later developed under the influence of the greater nearby town of Conimbriga. This latter place is now a large archaeological site of great interest. The botanical gardens are considered the most beautiful botanical gardens of Portugal. Besides the many rare species which deserve to be admired, there is also a vast collection of ornamental features such as statues and fountains
