Students from Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics became winners and prize-winners of the International Mathematics Competition for University Students 2014.

This year’s competition was co-organized by University College London and American University in Bulgaria, Blagoevgrad. It took place in Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria, from the 29th of July to the 4th of August, 2014.

First prizes were awarded to Victor Omelyanenko Fedor Ivlev and Maria Riabtseva. Roman Pocherevin won the second prize, and Oleg Zaslavsky ? the third. The competition was attended by over 450 students from more than a hundred universities around the world. In the unofficial team standings MSU team took 5th place.
