Moscow CTF School 2015 competitions in Information Security for schoolchildren

On November 8, 2015 the Faculty of Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics, Lomonosov Moscow State University, hosted ?Moscow CTF School 2015? for the second time – team competitions in computer security for pupils of Moscow and Moscow region.

The team competitions ?Moscow CTF School 2015? (Capture the flag (CTF)) were held as a part of the Festival of Science.

The event is in a scope of team competitions devoted to the protection of information. As part of the competition teams were offered to find solutions for a variety of tasks in cryptography, steganography, vulnerability of Web applications, and other aspects of computer and information security in the allotted time (5 hours).

The tasks of the competitions were focused on pupils of 7-11 classes, each team of 3 to 5 people.

In 2014, the first competition was attended by more than 60 teams and 250 pupils, this year – 75 teams and 312 pupils.
