January 26, 2016 the MSU Research Library hosted the awards ceremony “Best of the Best.”
љMSU Rector, Full Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences Viktor Antonovich Sadovnichy awarded recipients the category “Student of the Year”. Among the recipients are:
1. Adil Kabylda – a first-year student of the Faculty of Chemistry. He won the gold medal at the XLVII International Chemistry Olympiad (Baku, Azerbaijan);
2. Maria Ryabtseva ? a third-year student of the Faculty of Mathematics and Mechanics. He won the gold medal at the XVI International Student Olympiad in mathematics (Hamadan, Iran);
3. Daniil Nikitin ? a third-year student of the Faculty of Biology. The absolute winner of the International Biological Universiade (Moscow, Russia);
4. Gleb Evstropov – a graduate of the Faculty of Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics. He won the gold medal at the XXXIX World Student Championship in Programming of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM-ICPC) (Marrakech, Morocco);
5. Victor Omelyanenko – graduate student of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics. He won the gold medal at the XXXIX World Student Championship in Programming of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM-ICPC) (Marrakech, Morocco).
