Information for authors and instructions for manuscript submission

Submission process
A manuscript must be submitted to the Editors together with a cover
letter, in which the author declares 1) type of the publication; 2) that
the material has not been published before and has not been submitted
elsewhere; 3) that research used for the publication was carried out with
bioethical approval and consent and it should be included in the text of
the article.
Manuscripts submitted to the journal should be divided into the
following sections: Title page, Abstract (in Russian and English), Key
words (in Russian and English), main manuscript text, list of references,
tables, figures and figure captions.
The title page (in Russian and English) should provide the title of the
article, list the full names, scientific degrees and academic ranks, place
of work and working positions, institutional addresses, email addresses and
phone ## for all authors.
The Abstract of the manuscript should not be less than 300 words but
should not exceed 500 words. It must be structured into separate
sections: Introduction (Aim of the research); Materials and
Methods; Results and Discussion; Conclusions. At the end 5-7 key words
should be given representing the main content of the article. English text
of the abstract must be comprehensive and readable.
Main manuscript text should start with a separate page. Original papers
and Short reports should as a rule include the following sections:
Introduction; Materials and Methods; Results; Discussion; Conclusions.
Introduction: describes the context and purpose of the study, indicates
its novelty and differences from earlier researches. Materials and Methods:
this section should include the design of the study, the type of
participants or materials involved, a clear description of all methods and
techniques, the type of analysis used etc. Results: the most important
findings of the research are given in this section; they are supported by
tables and illustrated with figures. Repetition of the same information in
tables and figures should be avoided. Discussion: in this section the main
findings are discussed in the context of previous knowledge with the
emphasis on their novelty and originality. Conclusions: this should state
clearly the main conclusions of the research and give a clear explanation
of their importance and relevance. List of references is given at the end
of the article.
Manuscripts are presented in printed format (2 copies) together with
the electronic version ("*.rtf") on CD/DVD and/or via email. Illustrations
in the journal are published in black-and-white. The place of the tables
and illustrations should be marked in the text of the manuscript. Full size
of the article includes list of references, tables and figures.

Preparing the manuscript
File formats
. Rich text format (*.rtf)
. Font - Times New Roman; size - 12 pt; spacing - 1,5; page А4 with
margins of 2 cm from each side.
. Electronic version must contain file with the manuscript main text,
and files with illustrations and tables.
. This set of files must be accompanied with a file of the cover
letter, which should necessarily include the title of the journal and
suggested type of the publication; in Russian and in English: the title of
the article, full names and place of work (without any abbreviations) for
all authors; the list of attached illustrations and graphs with the records
of attached files. Graphic files should be named in the way that makes it
possible to understand which article they belong to and the order of their
arrangement. Each file must contain only one picture or table.
. All abbreviations in the text must be explained, apart from a limited
number of widespread ones.
. Uniform system of design must be used in all materials, including
pictures and text on the photographs, symbols, hyphen, dash, italics.
. Mixed usage of Russian and Latin indexes in one paper should be
avoided. Indexes of limited usage should be explained.
. For photographs and pictures ".tiff" format should be used with the
definition 600 dpi.
. References are given in the text in square brackets; full references
are given at the end of the manuscript in the section List of references.
All references are given in alphabetic order, according to the GOST Р 7.0.5-
2008 reference style. References in languages with non-Latin alphabet are
given in Latin transcription.
