X-Ray fluorescence determination of bismuth in drugs "De-Nol" and "Vikalin"

Abstract

The principle possibility of effective use of X-ray fluorescence analysis for determination of bismuth contents in antibacterial drugs "De-Nol" and "Vikalin" is described. These drugs are used for treatment of gastritis, gastric ulcer and ulcer ofdodecadactylon. The algorithm of calculation of theoretical calibration function for X-ray bismuth determination in drugs is offered. Proposed alternative way allows providing high accuracy of analysis results without use of standards is shown. Adequacy of the developed approaches is confirmed by results of titrimetric method of analysis.
