This training is offered in the form of:
• refresher courses (brief and standard)
• traineeship
• professional retraining.

The Center provides teacher training in the field of Russian as a foreign language to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the instructional process. If you are a teacher of Russian in Europe, Asia or the Americas you can improve your teaching skills in the heart of Russia. With several programs to choose from, you can learn new games, techniques, methods and ways of making Russian fun. You will have an opportunity to meet other local and foreign Russian teachers and learn from them, to come to local educational supply and book stores and find new materials to take home with you, to sit in on local Russian classes and see how your Moscow colleagues teach.

Traineeship (1 to 10 months). The program is intended chiefly for carrying out research work (according to individual schedule). Trainees can take advantage of Moscow libraries. They are also welcome to visit classes and tutorials at CIE.

Refresher courses (1 to 2.5 months). We offer lessons on methodology of teaching Russian as a foreign language. The tuition program is flexible to match students? individual needs. Upon completion of the program students obtain state certificates.

The course of professional retraining (1–2 semesters) for getting a new qualification: Teacher of Russian as a foreign language is offered. Prerequisites: higher education in any field (for native speakers of the Russian language) or higher education in Russian philology (for foreigners). Upon completion graduates are awarded a state diploma of professional retraining which entitles to work professionally in the sphere of teaching Russian as a foreign language.

Upon completion of the programme students and trainees receive corresponding certificates.
