A Changing Arctic
A Dynamic Course
The University of Oslo is proud to introduce a new interdisciplinar y course that combines Natural Sciences, Law and Social Sciences to explore the environmental, legal, and political changes in the Arctic region. Par ticipants will learn about current issues involving the Arctic's changing environment and how this impacts the legal framework provided by the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea. The course also explores how this may generate new oppor tunities, risks, and governance challenges for Arctic states, companies and nonArctic stakeholders.

Scholarships Available
A limited number of par ticipants will be eligible for financial suppor t to attend this six week course from 21 June - 1 August 2014.
