Information for foreign students

Department of Engineering and Ecological Geology invites foreign students for training programs. During education the students of the Department gain both fundamental and applied knowledge by the following specializations: Engineering Geology, Soilscience and Soil Stabilization, Environmental Geology and Ecological Geology. The Department offers different types of programs among which are Bachelour Program (4 years full time), Master Program (2 years full time) and PhD Program (3 years full time).

The students are studied in laboratories of the Department equipped by modern facilities. They become famous with the methods of investigation of composition, structure and properties of soils and rocks. They get knowledge about simulation and numerical modeling in a field of engineering geology. The training program includes many courses among which are engineering-geological mapping; assessment of slope stability; risk assessments; prediction of engineering-geological processes; soil and rock mass mechanics; monitoring of geological environment; ecological assessments etc (ссылка на список предметов). Field training is carried out for the students of the Department at well equipped training centers and institutes. For which foreign student the special program is prepared for the whole period of studying.
