The FESš was organized in 1997 mainly for students ofš all faculties of the University who wished to receive qualification of Secondary and Higher School teachers & lecturers in addition to their basic specialty. Besides obligatory disciplines, students are able to choose some additional courses in psychology, pedagogy and general education. Such flexible structure allows them to make their choice wisely, as well as to raise their general educational level and - as a result - become more competitive on the labor market.

Master programš "Management of Education" is aimed at mastering the basic academic knowledge, methodologies, systems approach, with modern analytical tools, methods, innovations and design research.

During training, particular attention is paid to the development of student?s communication skills in professional, scientific, social and cultural spheres of communication, building skills to develop optimal strategies for their activities; ability to solve professional problems in the light of personal responsibility for decisions.

Graduates of the Master program are ready to solve the following organizational and managerial, educational, scientific and research tasks:

• Analysis of educational policy and educational projects;
• Development of innovative approaches to implementing managerial functions in education;
• Strategic planning of the education system and its components;
• Operational management of educational, institutional, industrial and economic activities of educational institutions;
• Providing methodical, analytical and advisory services in the direction of the specialization.

Program is highly relevant to the needs of the modern society, due to the growing demand of the labor market for skilled managers, various administrative and managerial workers, middle managers for institutions and education authorities.

The working language is Russian but the program includes a number of additional adaptive courses for foreign students and some lectures in English.š Tuition ? 300 200 rubles per one year.
