About RPA
Rajasthan Physics Association (RPA) is a unit of Physics Society to promote
research and education in Physics. The society is registered under the act.
XX of 1860.It was founded on December14, 2003 and functioning to improve
the aptitude of the students of Rajasthan state towards Physics by
conducting Physics Aptitude Test (PAT) every year and awards scholarships
to the meritorious students. It also promotes research and development work
by giving Rajasthan Raman Award every year. The association conducts short
term programmes and conferences on various topics.
About the Organizing Institutions
The University of Rajasthan is the oldest institution of higher learning in
Rajasthan (India). It has 37 P.G. teaching departments and 6 constituent
colleges. The University of Rajasthan is an A plus NAAC accredited. The
University of Rajasthan was established on January 8, 1947 as University of
Rajaputana with the main objective of disseminating knowledge and catering
to the needs of the students of Rajasthan state. In 1956, the University of
Rajaputana was renamed as the University of Rajasthan. The University of
Bikaner, Bikaner spread over 1,100 acres of land and came into existence in
the year of 2003 with the main objectives to facilitate higher education
and research in the northern part of Rajasthan. It has 125 affiliated
colleges. The Engineering College, Bikaner is an autonomous institution of
the Government of Rajasthan, spread over 200 acres of land and located at
Karni Industrial Area, Bikaner. The Institution was established in the year
1999 and committed to provide quality education. It has six branches of
Engineering at Under Graduate level viz. Computer Engineering, Electronics
and Communication Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical
Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electronics and Instrumentation
Control.
About the Conference
This conference will provide an international platform to the scientists
and academicians as well as to the young researchers to exchange their new
ideas, explore emerging directions both in basic physics as well as on the
applied aspects of the various areas of Condensed Matter Physics. It is
also aimed to highlight their new technologies. The event will bring
theorists and experimentalists on a common platform to inspire exciting and
current aspects of Condensed Matter Physics as well as Material Science and
to foster inter-disciplinary research in all areas including soft matter.
This conference will also inspire the young generation of scientists.
Objectives of the Conference
(a)To provide an international platform to the theorists and
experimentalists to exchange their new ideas.
(b)To explore emerging directions both in basic Physics as well as applied
aspects of various areas of Condensed Matter Physics.
(c) To foster inter-disciplinary research.
(d)To inspire young scientists towards exciting and current aspects of
Condensed Matter Physics and Material Science.
