General information
Academic Calendar Spring semester 2016: 18 January 2015 to 5 June 2016 Examinations are arranged throughout the year with no fixed examination periods. Swedish and English 30 credits. Courses normally contain 7.5, 15 or 30 credits. Students can choose four 7.5 credit courses or two 15 credits courses or any other combination. One week of full-time studies equals 1.5 credits. The workload is 40 hours per week, including lectures, readings, assignments, seminars, independent studies. All students must be officially nominated by their home university to be eligible for exchange studies at Stockholm University. Application Period Academic year 2015/16: Spring Semester 2016: 1 September ­ 1 October 2015. Application Material Required Online application including a course selection form, transcript of records, proof of English (if applicable). Language Requirements Students whose mother tongue is not English must provide evidence that their English language ability meets the minimum requirements for admission. Students from the Nordic countries do not need to take a test. IELTS: 6.0 overall with at least 5.5 in each of the four components, TOEFL: PBT 550, iBT 79. Please notice that no results from TOEFL ITP tests will be accepted.

Please note that for most courses there are special eligibility requirements which are determined by the departments.
