parameter of Ho=50 km/sec/Mpc.

(***) - The values given are B (blue magnitude) values, the outcome will
differ according to the method used (photographic/CCD/ visual), and
extreme caution should be excercised when applying these values. These
are general approximations. Other considerations that might come into
play are the time in the evolutionary process that the event is first
viewed.

Type II SNe at the distance modulus of the Virgo Cluster (M-m=31.7)(7)
(also see above).

(a) - Calculated as the apparent blue magnitude in the Bt system, and
the absolute blue magnitude in the Bt system. Some errors that are cited:
apparent magnitudes (~0.2m), galactic absorption corrections (~0.15m),
intrinsic absorption corrections (~0.25m), corrected velocities (~[0.1m),
and random deviations (~[0.1m)..."Hence the compounded mean error in
absolute magnitude is (~[0.4m)" (1)
