the field of Biology was established under the agreement between
Academy of Science of the USSR

The Ethiopian Science and Technology Commission

Having recognized the need to undertake the estimation of the value of the done investigations and to discuss results for further project activities, the JERBE Coordinating Office with the assistance of the Ministry of Science and Technology of the FDRE (MoST), and the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Ethiopia–Pushkin Center (RCSC) organizes a scientific meeting, which will be held at the RCSC in Addis Ababa on 03-04 December 2012.

Expected participants of the meeting will be scientists from both Sides involved in the joint investigations: A.Severtsov Institute of Ecology and Evolution, Russian Academy of Science; N.Vavilov Institute of Plant Industry, Russian Academy of Agriculture Science; N.Vavilov Institute of General Genetics, Russian Academy of Sciences; Institute of Cytology and Genetics, Russian Academy of Sciences (Siberia branch); representatives of Ethiopian scientific organizations, private sectors and media.
