The article analyzes the theoretical approaches of Russian classic social scientists towards the metaphysical and legal foundations of power. Basic principles of these approaches were laid by Russian philosophers and sociologists of an epoch of Russian Sil ver age and post-revolutionary emigration. Their theoretical heritage, no in response, can serve as a major contribution in the development of a theory of power strategy in modern Russia and in the formation at citizens of a true and sustainable legal consciousness among citizens.
