Moscow, Moscow agglomeration, society, environment, environmental problems The article is devoted to the analysis of social consequences which are caused by interaction between society and environment within Moscow agglomeration. The article discusses two such problems: socio-ecological and ecological demographic aspects. We consider the model of Moscow agglomeration due to the expansion of the territory of Moscow, as well as with current trends to expand the territory of the Moscow metropolitan area and the region as a whole. Different solutions of environmental problems are discussed.
