Postdoctoral, PhD, and Graduate Student fellowships are available in order to support ongoing development of novel functional materials for medical imaging at Thunder Bay Regional Research Institute (Canada). Atomic-scale simulations (incl. first-principle calculations) are intended to facilitate improvement of critical properties of materials for imaging detectors by gaining understanding of fundamental physical mechanisms responsible for degradation of detector's performance.
