Member of Moscow Society of Naturalists, member of Russian Entomological Society. Participated in numerous expeditions to Far East, Turkmenia, N Caucasus.
Principle research interests are in taxonomy and ecology of the flies, especially of some cyclorrhapha families (Micropezidae, Dryomyzidae, Sepsidae, Pallopteridae, Piophilidae, Scathophagidae, Calliphoridae). Described more that 120 new species.
Dr. Aleksander V. Antropov, PhD
Senior researcher, curator of hymenopteran insects.
Member of Editorial Board of the Russian Entomological Journal, member of the International Society of Hymenopterists, member of Société Entomologique de France.
Expert in taxonomy, distribution and ecology of sphecide and chrysidide wasps. Special interests are in morphology of pre-imago stages and in hunting and nesting behavior of the wasps of the tribe Trypoxylini. Described more that 110 new species.

Expert in taxonomy and phylogeny of flies, especially of some cyclorrhapha families (Platypezidae, Syrphidae, Pseudopomyzidae, Strongylophthalmyiidae, Psilidae, Lauxaniidae). Described more that 150 new species.

Member of International Coleopterological Society; member of Commission of the Russian Red Data Book. Participated in expeditions to Central Russia, Caucasus and Carpathian Mts, Far East (incl. Kuril Isls).
Expert in taxonomy and distribution of some xylophylous and mycetophylous beetles, especially of Cucujoidea and Tenebrionoidea. Active in insect protection, in particular in those listed in the Red Data Book. Described more that 60 new species.
Dr. Georgy Yu. Lyubarsky, PhD
Senior researcher, curator of some coleopteran families.
Expert in taxonomy and phylogeny of the beetle families Cryptophagidae, Phalacridae, and Languriidae of the World fauna. Studies typological theory, develops some of its basic notions (archetype, morphotype, biostyle, rank, etc.). Described about 60 new species.

Member of Moscow Society of Naturalists, member of Russian Entomological Society, member of Societas Europaea Lepidopterologica, and of some others. Awarded Medal of President of Russia (1997). Member of editorial boards of some journals in entomology.
Expert in taxonomy and distribution of the butterfly family Noctuidae and of numerous hetheroceran families. Works in the theory of identification keys. Active in the insect protection, in particular in those listed in the Red Data Book.

Expert in morphology, ecology and phylogeny of ants (Formicidae). Particioated in expiditions to Central Asia.
