Contemporary Diversification Strategies of International Corporations

The article examines contemporary strategic models and features of the approaches and types of diversification strategies of multinational corporations. The author analyzes the key trends in the global economy and the associated ambivalent diversification of transnational corporations. The author analyzes the results of the annual rankings and assesses the current state and prospects of the largest corporations. The article shows that the present stage of development is characterized by consolidation of global corporations and qualitative changes of the organization of their activities. The author presents an assessment of the potential of Russia in the implementation of innovative breakthrough and the development and implementation of basic technological innovations.
