Without fear and beyond reproach: Prince Sergei Nikolaevich Trubetskoy (1862-1905)

The article presents a portrait of Russian creative thinker, educator and social activist, the Rector of Moscow State University, whose tragic untimely death became a symbol of his historical era, the era when the hopes for the transformation of society and the educational system, for winning the fight against ignorance and tyranny, were shattered.
