Constitutional and Legal Status of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation

The article is devoted to the status definition issues of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation. In accordance with the current legislation it is a public body, however, its functions are actually the functions of a security (accessary) body. Although “de facto” Administration is “super” state agency. The article’s goal is to clarify the constitutional and legal status of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation in the context of current modernization of the political and economic state system. Attention is paid to the analysis of the prospects for further consolidation of constitutional and legal status of the Presidential Administration in the Russian legislation. According to the analysis the possible approaches to this twofold problem were articulated.
