Destructive Motivation as an Object of Management

The article is devoted to the development of research methodology for rather poorly studied managerial phenomenon — destructive motivation. It reveals the most important characteristics of destructive motivation and examines the consequences of destructive motivation for the organization. The author focuses on the causes of destructive motivation, which are connected with a particular organization. The article also examines the necessity of the diagnostic of employee’s needs and interests in order to identify the main causes of destructive motivation. The article offers some ways of limiting the destructive motivation.
