Possibilities of the Couteraction to the Far Right Lone-Wolf Terrorism (Anders Brejvik Case)

The important role of the communications in counter-terrorist struggle system is confirmed today at the international level. The countries of the European Union support the course of the USA known as Global War on Terrorism (GWOT) in various ways. With time the weaknesses of that course, and its communication maintenance became obvious. In particular, terrorist propaganda under the conditions of the economic and political crisis in the EU has provoked a considerable quantity of the terrorist or extremist organizations’ sympathizers to follow a way of the lone-wolf terror.
The author tries to analyze the communication aspect of the counteraction to the lone-wolf terrorism on an example of far right terrorist Anders Brejvik as well as some of the current academic approaches to that problem in the EU.
