Governance of the Russian State-owned Enterprises at the Macro-level

The article provides an analytical review of the key models of the state owned enterprises’ governance and the legitimation that determines the mechanism of the governance by such companies in Russia. Based on the analysis performed, the prevailed model under which the above-mentioned mechanism is acting in Russia is clarified. The analysis of the results of state owned enterprises’ activity is performed and the current problems and potential spheres for the further improvement are highlighted.
